Dr. Amanda Mithrush’s passion for sports inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. She graduated from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours BA in Kinesiology & Physical Education, excelling as a CIS Academic All-Canadian varsity soccer athlete. Furthering her education, Dr. Mithrush attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she graduated cum laude in 2019. She also obtained her Medical Acupuncture an evidence - based approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine Certificate at McMaster University in 2018.
Her personal experiences in sports and rigorous academic background have fueled her dedication to wellness and healthy living. This dedication drives her commitment to making a significant impact on her patients’ health and wellness. In her practice, Dr. Mithrush employs a variety of techniques, including diversified manual therapy (spinal and extremity manipulations and mobilizations), soft tissue therapy/ cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, specialized exercise prescription, and acupuncture (including electroacupuncture). These methods are designed to guide her patients toward optimal functioning and well-being.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Mithrush enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, staying active, and spending quality time with family, friends and her dog Avy the samoyed.
